Facebook Pages Manager for iOS

For all you IPhone lovers here is a new app that allows you to manage you facebook pages. It was released in New Zealand  at first and is now available here in Canada and in the U.S.

For someone like me who manages several pages this new app allows me to view and respond to many things on my page that I am not able to on the regular app, and its FREE!

Here are a few easy steps to guide you through the process:

  1. In your App Store search ” Facebook Pages Manager” and download it.
  2. Tap login button and authorize the app
  3. Your page/pages will appear and you can begin!

The following features are included in this app:

  1. Post new updates and photos on your page
  2. Get notices about new activity on your phone when it happens, no matter where you are.
  3. View your latest page insights
  4. Notification when someone has liked your page and commented on it.
  5. You can switch accounts if you have multiple ones at anytime.
  6. You can hide or ban a member from posting on your page by swiping the comment.
  7. You can view, everyone’s posts, hidden posts and only your posts by choosing in the filter at the top right corner.

I hope they add the messages to this app eventually and maybe the option to highlight and pin. And I find it A LOT easier to read all the posts on my wall than our actual one on our computers.

Each Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home for out-of-town families with seriously ill children who are being treated at nearby children’s hospitals. There are countless stories from families who have relied on the sense of calm and comfort this kind of service brings during such difficult times.

Kobo e-Reader Android App Upgrade

Among the most notable changes to Kobo’s e-reader app is the ability to search internet ePubs. Users can also add and read archived ePubs on their Android device. The upgrade also allows for eBooks to be read in a DRM-free ePub format.

The upgrade is free and the app can be found in the Android Marketplace. Only users operating a device with Android OS 1.6 or higher can take advantage of the Kobo App and upgrade.
