Kobo e-reader fans with an Android device will be glad to know that an upgrade is available. The new upgrade brings with it three new major changes for Kobo users.
Among the most notable changes to Kobo’s e-reader app is the ability to search internet ePubs. Users can also add and read archived ePubs on their Android device. The upgrade also allows for eBooks to be read in a DRM-free ePub format.
The upgrade is free and the app can be found in the Android Marketplace. Only users operating a device with Android OS 1.6 or higher can take advantage of the Kobo App and upgrade.
